Get your patients off to a good start with Lyumjev
Dose at mealtime
Lyumjev is designed to be taken at the start of a meal, when some patients like Charlie may already be taking their mealtime insulin. Lyumjev can also be taken within 20 minutes after starting a meal.1,2
Transitioning to Lyumjev from other mealtime insulins is familiar based on 1:1 unit conversion.1
Lyumjev is available in a familiar prefilled dosing pen (100 units/mL, 200 units/mL) and a vial (100 units/mL).1
Specify "Lyumjev" to ensure patients get the correct prescription

Indication for Lyumjev: Lyumjev™ is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults with diabetes mellitus.
Select Important Safety Information for Lyumjev
- Instruct patients to always check the insulin label before each injection to avoid medication errors. Do NOT transfer Lyumjev U-200 from the Lyumjev KwikPen to a syringe as overdose and severe hypoglycemia can occur.
- Fluid retention and heart failure can occur with concomitant use of TZDs and Lyumjev. Observe patients for signs and symptoms of heart failure and consider discontinuation or dose reduction of the PPAR-gamma agonist.
